Areas of Growth Counseling isn’t just a general counseling practice. Our practitioners are passionate about sexual health and working with couples and individuals living with pelvic pain, pelvic dysfunction, autoimmune diseases, medical trauma, and everything else that comes with trying to live with these conditions. Our goal is that clients feel valued and validated.

Leadership

Areas of Growth Counseling is led by Jessica Kruckeberg, a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified sex therapist. Just like you, she’s had to face her own areas of growth many times in her life. She realized her direct approach was not easily matched within therapeutic settings. Because she was taught to challenge and to dream, she soon recognized that it wasn’t her that had to fit into traditional therapy’s box, but rather there was an opportunity to improve on the type of therapy available. Jessica graduated with honors from the Division of Counseling and Family Therapy at Regis University, Denver, Colorado with her master’s degree and was presented with the Outstanding Leadership Award by the counseling honor society and Alumni-Student Counseling Alliance. Her nomination for that award was due to Jessica challenging the status quo as a clinical intern and demanding a better client experience at her clinical site. From there, Jessica continues to challenge the norm and clients have come to appreciate the client-centered approach that our practice prides itself on.

Our clinicians join the practice because they too believe clients deserve better. As part of our values, all clinicians are trauma-informed, trained in pelvic dysfunction, sexual health, and autoimmune diseases. Clinicians are continually supported through regularly trainings and given the freedom to pursue, and be reimbursed for, trainings that interest them and support their clients.
